Gosha night @Renon: Sad-urday turned snack-urday
10:12 PMHAPPY SATURDAY NIGHT!
(…or is it Sad-urday? we don’t judge 😌)
I wandered into Gosha (Jl. Tukad Gangga, Renon. Yes, I made a tiny map in my brain) and immediately got greeted by… plants.
So many plants. Jungle vibes, bright greens, very “let’s hang out with friends”—except I came solo because I’m a professional introvert™.
The vibe
- Leafy, airy, casual.
- Western-leaning menu; everyone whispers “get the steak.”
- Wi-Fi on, which for me = emotional support.
The food (aka my diet playing hide-and-seek)
Starter: a mystery plate I forgot to name (archaeologists will confirm it was, in fact, food).
Main: my friend ordered BBQ chicken; I “dieted” with a salad and congratulated myself between bites of not-salad.
Drink: lychee tea so pretty I over-edited it like a 2012 Tumblr girl.
Pssst: They do homemade ice cream. I did not get it. I am not okay.
How are we supposed to be skinny when Bali keeps feeding us? Please submit solutions and/or elastic waistbands.
Summary:
Nice for a chill hang (solo or squad), steaks are the headline, ice cream is flirting, Wi-Fi works, and the greenery makes you feel like you’re productive even when you’re just scrolling.
See you there~
I'll be the one bravely eating salad and eyeing the dessert freezer
