I'm finally in.. BANGKOK! part 2, From The Mix Hotel with love
11:27 PM
I wrote this almost three years ago and never posted it… so we’re fixing that tonight. Dedicated to the first budget hotel that truly impressed me.
Location: Ridiculously Close to BTS Phra Khanong
The Mix Bangkok is really, truly near BTS Phra Khanong
Like “you’ll giggle at the convenience” near. For Bangkok, that’s gold.

Price (Budget Travelers, Rejoice)
We paid roughly IDR 800–1.000k per room/night for 5 people, which is about Rp 160–200k per person. For a city hotel this close to the BTS, that’s a win.
⚠️ Note: No elevator.
Read that again.
This-hotel-does-not-have-an-elevator.
I stayed on the top floor (6th) with a huge suitcase. Consider this your bonus glute workout. A tourist even helped carry my bag.
My heart: touched. My quads: screaming.

Room & Facilities:
Room for 5: Clean, comfy, and actually fits five humans. There are 3 beds including a bunk bed (so yes, I slept “on top,” not “on the roof” 😅).
Bathroom: Shower; water pressure behaved.
Feels like home (?)
My room is actually quite nice and clean, but forgive my untidiness I make it dirty heheheheheheheheheheheheheehehehe wtf #creepylaugh
The bathroom is using a shower and there are 3 beds! one of them are bunk beds so I didn't lie when I said i sleep on the top lol

And it said that this room have a garden view.

“Garden view”: In my mind, it had flowers. Reality was… Bangkok. Still fine.
Pantry (Level 2): Mini pantry with bread + tea/coffee for free simple breakfast. Plates and cups provided (not allowed in rooms).

Smoking policy: No smoking in rooms. If you’re caught, the fine was about Rp 400k.
Staff Shout-Out: Pi Aon 💛
I really love Pi Aon!
At first she spoke to me in Thai (people there often thought I was Thai, love that for me). When she realized I wasn’t, she switched to English and told me I “look Thai” and that I’m always smiling and greeting her. I didn’t even notice. I thought she smiled first!
Hahahaha i really don't know when people praise me alot, I never got praised before so i kinda happy.
Happiness are quite simple :P

Either way, Pi Aon was wonderfully helpful with info about Bangkok. I even took a photo with her. Simple things = happy me.
