Hello! If you’re reading this, I’m still alive this year and still eating like it’s my part-time job.

My Snapgram is 80% food; my camera roll has photos I haven’t posted since 2015 (time is fake), and now it’s 2017.

So… let’s commit some uploads.

Nothing dramatic happened yet. I’m praying to grow taller but my age refused the update. Friends keep saying I’ve had the same height since elementary school. Complete with the joke “ikkel and her elementary bag.” Thank you, comedians.

I moved to Bali and discovered I look like a hobbit living among humans. Everyone is wayyy taller. I considered moving back to Surabaya to found a Shorty Squad™ (please contact my manager)…

Apparently I grab sushi almost every week. Even my Japanese friends don’t go as often as I do. Consider this professional dedication.

Raw vs Not-Raw Politics

Salmon nigiri that rarely i could have with my balinese friend. My Balinese friends prefer non-raw / fusion sushi. I like salmon nigiri the way God intended.

But don't care la, even they doesn't like raw food we're still having a good lunch or dinner together

Looking at these photos makes me a little sad.

New year = new book.

I’ll wait for next Christmas to see what news arrives and pretend it balances out the height wish that will never happen. That’s fine. I can’t grow taller, but I can stack plates.

Mini Review: Sushi Tei, Galaxy Mall Surabaya

My first Surabaya sushi after a long time. Service was so good it reset my standards.

Service: Staff offered ocha refills before I asked (instead of me waving for years). Small gesture, huge serotonin.

Food: Consistent Sushi Tei comfort. Salmon mentai and unagi roll still the main characters; salmon nigiri fresh and clean.

Vibe: Busy but efficient, perfect for “I said I wouldn’t order more and then did.”

Verdict: Would return. 8.5/10 (bonus points for proactive ocha).
