Why I Went (and Why I’d Go Again)
First time at Hooters Shibuya because curiosity won. Friends said, “pretty girls, American vibes,” and my brain said, “field research.” Hooters is a US chain with branches in Tokyo (I heard Jakarta pernah ada juga). You can chat with the Hooters Girls. Some staff speak English, and the menu does too.
Social ease = unlocked.
Pertama kali ke Hooters Shibuya karena penasaran. Teman bilang banyak cewek cantik, vibes Amerika. Chain asal USA, cabang di Tokyo. Stafnya ada yang bisa bahasa Inggris dan menunya juga ada versi English. Sosial minggirl?

My favorite branch is Shibuya. It’s on the 4th floor; take the elevator (the stairs I tried were… an emergency exit, lol). Spacious, bright, so-American—sports screens, loud-ish but friendly. At the entrance, they’ll ask party size and smoking or non-smoking.
Cabang favoritku: Shibuya. Letaknya di lantai 4; naik lift ya (tangga darurat bukan akses masuk). Tempatnya luas, terang, vibes Amerika banget. Di depan, kamu bakal ditanya jumlah orang dan smoking/non-smoking.

- Quesadilla Cheese JPY 1,080
Do not ask what’s inside a cheese quesadilla. The answer is spiritual: cheese. Served with salsa and sour cream. Simple + satisfying.

Dressing choice: Blue Cheese or Ranch. I’m not a blue-cheese person, so ranch it is. Greens = I tried to be healthy on purpose...
Dressing bisa pilih Blue Cheese atau Ranch. Aku tim ranch. Sayuran untuk menurunkan nurunin dosa diet sedikit. - Western BBQ Burger, JPY 1,680
Big, smoky, sweet-savory. I love burgers; I won’t lie. This one was good. Portions are American-big, so plan your appetite (or share)
Porsinya besar. Rasa smoky manis-gurih. Kalau suka burger, ini aman dan puas..
- Breaded Chicken Wings (~JPY 1,500, depends on quantity)
My favorite. The breading + sauce combo hits that Richeese-spicy nostalgia zone but still very Hooters. Spice levels available; the girls never recommend the absolute max heat (respect). I like a level that’s spicy with a little tang.
Menu favoritku. Tekstur tepung + sausnya nagih, level pedas bisa pilih. Aku suka yang pedas-asam dikit, bukan yang paling pedas. Mirip sensasi Richeese tapi versi Hooters. - Ice Cream Trio, JPY 1,020 (Chocolate, Matcha, Vanilla)
Usually I’m team matcha/vanilla, but here they tasted too sweet for me; chocolate won the night.
Biasanya suka matcha/vanilla, tapi di sini agak terlalu manis buatku. Cokelat yang paling oke.

Tips Before You Go
A bit pricey (hello, Shibuya + American portions), but the plates are huge. There’s tax & service added. Split a burger and wings if you’re not ravenous.
Memang agak mahal, tapi porsi besar. Ingat ada tax & service. Bisa patungan burger + wings biar pas.
Several staff speak English, menu has English, and ordering is painless even if your Japanese is shy. Vibes are lively, staff are friendly.
Staf cukup ramah dan beberapa bisa bahasa Inggris. Order gampang, ga perlu panik.

Pilihan mengenyangkan: Burger BBQ Barat (bisa dibagi). - For balance: Buffalo Chicken Salad with ranch.
Untuk keseimbangan: Salad Ayam Buffalo dengan saus ranch. - Sweet end: Chocolate ice cream.
