Sushimi Seminyak: Conveyor Belt Chaos, Color-Coded Prices, and Parking That Costs Feelings
11:46 AMFriends landed in Bali and suddenly I remembered how to go outside.
I’d been craving sushi, so we tried Sushimi in Seminyak: small spot, lots of good reviews, close to Fave Hotel and dangerously close to my self-control.
Location & first look
Where: Near Fave Hotel Seminyak (easy to spot).
Size: Compact; seats ring the conveyor belt (choo choo, maki edition).
When I went: Saturday night, pleasantly not “crowdead.” Staff said Friday is the true stampede (promo night).
Parking reality (Seminyak, why)
I drove. I regretted.
Parking nearby was a mini-quest and cost Rp20k (not valet).
Seminyak charges rent for air now, apparently.
The fun part: conveyor belt & prices

Plates orbit your face. You grab, you hope it’s the one you wanted, you pretend it’s strategy.
Color-coded prices (each plate):
- Yellow: Rp15k
- Grey: Rp20k
- Blue: Rp25k
- Red: Rp30k
- Purple: Rp35k
- Black: Rp40k
We sampled a brave amount of nameless sushi (sorry to the chef, love to the taste buds) and spent about ~Rp200k for two.
They also offer brown rice for sushi, cool option.
I was scared of change and didn’t try it (next time).
Vibe & service
Casual, fast, staff friendly. Good for catching up without performing a 3-course ceremony.
Pros & cons (speed run)
Pros
- 🍣 Conveyor belt = instant variety + low decision fatigue
- 💸 Clear price tiers (Rp15k–Rp40k/plate)
- 🧡 Brown rice option for team fiber
- 🙂 Saturday wasn’t too crowded
Cons
- 🅿️ Parking is painful and Rp20k
- 🧑🤝🧑 Friday can get packed (promo gravity)
- 📏 Small space, expect cozy seating
Tips to win your belt
- Avoid Friday promo crowds unless you thrive on chaos.
- If driving, budget time and Rp20k for parking, or just ride-hail.
- Stack a few lower-tier plates to explore more without crying at the bill.
- Curious about brown rice? Order one plate to test before committing.
Homesick but full,
