It’s not sakura—don’t throw your petals at me—but last month Surabaya bloomed pink anyway. Say hello to Tabebuia (same vibes, different passport). 

I wasn’t in town, but my friends’ feeds looked like spring snuck in without immigration.







Highlights:


Surabaya’s streets = soft pink confetti.
Rumor says Bandung even does picnic-under-the-tabebuia. Manifesting gingham blankets and thermoses.
Peak bloom usually hits Oct–Nov. Save the date with your camera roll.
