Contemplated the Ice Bucket Challenge but i’m too lazy to buy that much ice.
Also briefly considered wearing a bikini everywhere, but I don’t need “Bikini Ikkel” as my legal alias yet.
Found: a cool hideout
Rare for Denpasar (most cute cafés live in Kuta/Seminyak), but this one’s cozy and calm. when I went, the room was mostly Japanese guests, maybe because it was midday and the rest of Bali was… working (couldn’t be me lol).
The vibe
Bright little cake bar; many kawaii slices calling my name (and my tummy).
Bilingual menu (English/Japanese).
Not for Indonesian? T_T
Pro: prices are net (no extra tax/service). my wallet relaxed.
What we ate
Smoothies IDR 32k: refreshing without a sugar crash.
Cakes generally sit around IDR 20–35k.

Staff and even customers are sweet.
Wifi didn’t love me, so: talk to your friends like it’s 2009.
What we ate
Strawberry Mousse IDR 30k: my friend’s pick and the winner; light, not cloying.
Strawberry Short Slice IDR 30k: pretty, gentle sweetness, very “afternoon tea angel.”
Smoothies IDR 32k: refreshing without a sugar crash.
Cakes generally sit around IDR 20–35k.
There’s also a small lunch list (think omurice and friends) around IDR 30–60k.
Why I’d go back
Not-too-sweet desserts (my kryptonite), friendly service, and merciful air-conditioning. Perfect for a chatty catch-up when you don’t need wifi to babysit you.
