Good evening!
Landed in Yogyakarta for a 48-hour errand run. Zero time for Malioboro (I know… tragic).
It rained, the air was soft, and for once I wasn’t melting like I do in Bali.

Where I stayed
Sheraton Mustika Yogyakarta Resort & Spa: Jl. Laksda Adisucipto (super close to the airport).
Lobby on… 7F?! I rolled up to a car on the 7th floor and had an existential crisis. Turns out the lobby is on 7. Jogja said “top-down living.”
Room: wide, comfy, welcome fruit (free fruit = love language).
View: from my balcony, lush and pretty. First-floor rooms face a serene pond, also cute.
The shower saga
The bathroom looks huge but the shower was totally annoying. I already set the hot water for not really hot but the water was random, it could be cold then being EXTREMELY hot.
I feel burning and in the end I surrender and I took a bath with cold water.
Vibes
Quiet inside; lively clusters in the lobby (looked like a workshop crowd).
Rained all evening, the good kind that makes you whisper.
Next stop: a temple day. Manifesting hot water and good lighting.
