Not into dessert? They also do Ropan Chili Cheese Dog, plus rice bowls, Indomie, and snacks (about IDR 10-18k). Great for mixed cravings.

I grabbed pecel (veggies) from the stall beside Warung Abnormal: loaded toppings, IDR 22k.

It was raining like a plot twist and I wanted a latte. Kuta was too far, too late, too soggy, so we circled Renon and found Urban Cafe.
Right by the park, easy to spot, zero AC (just fans), which is fine when clouds are crying and less fine when they’re not.
The room was pretty dim, so my photos look like they were taken by a romantic flashlight. You’re welcome.

There’s burger, pizza, chips, cakes, and a spicy noodle with price scaling to how much chili your ego can handle.

Warm, smooth, with a bonus biscuit. Latte art decent; they post their wins on Instagram. I sipped and forgave the weather.

Light, sweet, very shareable. I needed a co-pilot because cake is a team sport.

Crust ran a bit firm, still edible (and filling). Quite possibly the cheapest pizza I’ve bought in Denpasar. One pizza + one cake = full.

Diet lasted 1.5 episodes; friendship and fried things staged a coup. We ducked into Helo Cafe by Bapak Bakery. Outside looks mini, parking looks optimistic, but inside it’s homey, air-conned, with music, books, Wi-Fi, and the kind of lighting that forgives nothing but you stay anyway.
PS: “Bapak Bakery” = the Kerobokan bakery from the same owner (hence the name).

Meanwhile I’m still auditioning for “girl who knows makeup.”
Current results: less “stunning,” more “circus intern on break.”
But tonight the eyeliner mostly behaved, so I took 47 selfies like a responsible adult.
