Natya Hotel (By Pass Ngurah Rai, Bali) Close to Airport, Comfy Bed, 24/7 Minimart, and One AC Plot Twist

10:51 PM

Last Wednesday I went for a blogger invite at Natya Hotel. (thanks, Tya from the Markom team!❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ )

If you’ve got an early flight, this location is a win: on By Pass Ngurah Rai, roughly ~15 minutes to the airport when traffic behaves. Also near Mall Bali Galeria (hi, H&M—my wallet is trembling) #peopledonotcareanyway

Welcome & First Bites
They handed me a complimentary drink plus pia (Pia Agung): cheese and tiramisu. I’m team cheese (tiramisu was a bit sweet for me). Would I accept a second round? Absolutely.

A friendly bellboy walked me to the room and gave the quick hotel download. Good first impression.

Room & Bed (the serotonin part)

Size: Not tiny, not huge—comfortable to move around without feeling boxed in.

Bed: Fluffy enough to erase traffic-induced personality disorders. I napped like I meant it.

Bathroom: Clean (my highest priority). A little minimalist on decor, but I’ll take spotless over frills.

Amenities that actually matter

  • Under the sink/vanity: hair dryer, 2 cups, 2 toothbrushes, sanitary bag, shower cap.

  • In-room: electric kettle with coffee/tea (not all 3★ places include this. Love to see it).

The AC Plot Twist (and resolution)

My air-con wasn’t behaving at first. I called; engineering fixed it quickly.

Mission solved. (I appreciate speed over perfection.)

On-Site Bonuses

24-hour minimart (dangerous if you’re a snack gremlin)
Swimming pool (didn’t try; I swim like a decorative rock)
Meeting room (good for corporate humans)

Breakfast

  • Two carb paths: fried rice and nasi putih.
  • Local snacks like fried banana & fried yam (fun surprise), plus “western” basics (bread, eggs, cereal).
  • I fell in love with the sausage with Bangkok sauce.
  • Wishlist: I was hoping for Natya’s fried noodle—I’m a fan.

Service & Wi-Fi

Staff energy = warm & helpful across the board.
Wi-Fi was stable enough for my usual online chaos.

Pros & Cons (quick scan)

Pros
  • 🚕 Airport-convenient (~15 min when smooth)
  • 🛏️ Very comfy bed
  • 🧴 Amenities that count (hair dryer, kettle, coffee/tea)
  • 🏪 24/7 minimart on site
  • 🙂 Friendly service; AC fixed fast
  • 🥞 Breakfast with fun local snacks
Cons
  • ❄️ Initial AC issue (resolved quickly)
  • 🛁 Bathroom a bit plain (but clean)

Tips Before You Go:
  1. If you’re catching an early flight, this is a stress-lowering base.
  2. Grab snacks from the minimart before crash-landing on the bed.
  3. If something’s off (AC, etc.), call immediately—they handled mine fast.
  4. Mall Bali Galeria is nearby, shopping detour if your suitcase “needs options.”
